I had a Reddit account but I deleted it myself because the way the up-vote system works makes information there next to useless.

The only SoMe I ever got banned was here on Steam, back when it had volunteer moderation and on DA:TV subforum for guilt of supected affiliation to a youtuber.

never had an account permanently banned. do not think i have ever been banned from a sub specifically either, but i have had temp bans before. usually when i am just tired of some dumb poster so i decided to let off some steam and just eat the ban

Years ago I tried to make a reddit account and on the account creation screen my browser crashed. Took it as a sign that I shouldn't sign up.

I've never been banned from Reddit, but I just don't enjoy posting there much - it feels like you're only allowed to say what's considered "acceptable". Otherwise, your post gets buried.
Sometimes posts get downvoted not because they’re wrong or unhelpful, but because someone wants to appear clever, feed their ego, or just follow the crowd.
Even well-intentioned content can be dismissed simply because people dislike the way it’s phrased.
Right now, I have a solid 4,400 karma, which is nice.
In the past, I used to get triggered by provocative comments, but over time I stopped letting them get under my skin. These days, peace of mind matters more. I’ve come to accept that some people just aren’t capable of engaging differently

You probably got hit for a bot that bans people for posting on wrongthink subs. Heck someone on the Asmongold sub made a guide to avoiding bot bans by listing which bots to block.
