i ended a few friendships lately bc i felt we grew apart, like friends i made in high school who were good for me at that time but not anymore, or friends who told me i changed like yes were not 15 yrs old anymore..

i keep very few in my life so i dont have to deal with the madness some times is best to just to keep clear.

I’ve ended so many friendships, my mistake was becoming friends with certain people in the first place.

yeah, i have. i have heard it described that breaking up with someone whether romantic or just as friends is comparable to the process ones mind goes through when a loved one dies. complete with the "stages of grief" and waiting for time to lessen the sting of the wound.

When a relationship dies(hopefully without anyone actually dying ) grief always follows, if you cared for such relationship that is.

Somethings are just not meant to be and its best to end them than to try and force them. But i understand the feeling.

aye. i was previously engaged, and the pain i felt when the relationship came to an end was easily comparable to the pain i have felt when loved ones passed. the "death" of the relationship can be traumatising.

i am better now, and life does continue. i agree that it is better sometimes to just end things, whether with a friend or partner.
