Gather your keys, gather our army!
Hi friends, I'm new to steam and have been told I need keys to share games so I thought I'd ask people, how does it work? Can we all build an army of friends to trade keys with? Haha

new to steam, yet your steam profile is turning 11 years old next month. games cannot be traded or shared if the key been claimed. not many sites what gives cd keys. And it just creates more problems then its worth doing. so NO, buy your own games

steam trading - https://steamhost.cn/help_steampowered_com/en/faqs/view/46A2-2B3C-95CC-8878

i have supplied steam trading link above. if you got an extra key or keys and want to trade with someone or a friend, then its not a problem. but what you are looking at, of having multiple people sharing keys, are open to scams and problems coming up, example someone already claimed a key after they tried to trade it. When a copy of game or cd key is claimed then it cant be traded again. Also "new to steam" your profile is practically almost 11 years old, which kind of suggest either you never been on steam forums (just by looking at your post history) or you bought the account (which is against steam policy and which can result in your account being locked or worse terminated)
also just want to add, you can't really share games what you already claimed unless you are talking about family sharing, which is where you are sharing your profile game library, but if you going to do family sharing, then its best to do with a family member or someone who you trust, especially someone who does not cheat, what i mean with cheat is, if the other person who you family sharing with cheats, then not just that person profile gets a ban but your profile as well. i have supplied both family sharing info and vacban/gameban information for you as well.

then just another thing to add, which is not really much regarding family sharing but more in the direction of you looking for games, some sites you do get a cd key yes, but of course that depends on the site. i follow two steam groups which post when a paid game goes free to claim for a certain period, they post not just for steam but other platforms as well, like epic, gog, etc

one last thing. always follow the rules especially if it involves trading or playing on someone's games when family sharing. Bans are permanent and cannot be appealed

Trading keys is not advisable.
