Honestly though Washington DC is a total sh*thole.
I visited a long time ago (during the Obama years) and man that place was rough. Walked through a neighborhood of run-down looking houses with metal bars on the doors and windows. There were homeless people lurking by the entrances of the metros, and the metro itself was suuuuper underwhelming and desolate.

Yes the National Mall is alright, but the condition of the city as a whole is not befitting of an imperial capital.

I believe Hannah Montana refers to it as a Hoedown Throwdown.

It surprises me what Trump is doing. I would have set up more homeless shelters to house it's people. But instead Trump decided to drive them away to another location. It's not really helping the situation but spreading it instead.

They need to return D.C. back to Virginia and Maryland, and let them deal with local security. Feds can protect the government buildings.

It's doesn't to me.. and I warned in advance... it's Trump just following Project 2025 to American Autocracy. Plus an added distraction.

It's a federal district, he can do what he wants until Congress grows a spine.

The homeless have three options:

1. Go to a homeless shelter.
2. Go to a psychiatric center.
3. Go to jail.
4. Live with their parents.

They can't set up tents downtown.

But I'm pretty sure we both agree, outcomes are a function of both family and culture. Money is secondary.

He caught wind of protesters occupying it in massive numbers. It's preemptive.
