As a grown-ass adult, it's dumb and I hope YouTube doesn't assume the wrong thing. Then again, I made sure to watch enough gory game footage and beer videos, maybe also a violent b-movie or two to be absolute sure.

I only view this as a power grab disguised as "for the kids"
If I get flagged then I will view it as malicious and not come back

Kinda funny if AI judges you a child.

Its going to annoy basically everyone except the sheep.
I'll just take my "entertain me now" for free elsewhere.

It'll be interesting to see just how jank their detection algorithm is and how many false flaggings happen. I'm gonna guess that there will be a lot of random flaggings at first just so they can collect as much data as possible.

Everytime they make a horrible change they try and out do themselves again.

I used to work with a crazy leftist nutjob who was FULLY into pokemon (to the point of having pokemon tattoos and pokemon stickers all over his car) will he be flagged as underage if he watches pokemon clips? He's in his early 30's...

There are children with bad parents who are allowed to watch crime dramas made for adults. If they watch clips from their favorite crime drama show, will they be flagged as an adult?

AI is not the be all end all tool of omnipresent perfection like they make it out to be.

The various AI chat bots are wrong quite often.

This seems like nothing more than an excuse for google to collect more of our information.
