Unless you are native American or the descendant of slaves, then yeah.
Go to miami and vibe to old 80s techno synth music in an 80s muscle car wearing a palm tree shirt.
you should probably move somewhere else, but mainly for your own good
florida is sinking

...figuratively
probably literally too, but right now i'm saying that figuratively
are you a "florida man" or do you just live in florida?
Why would you apologize for living somewhere? You didn't chose where you were born.

Florida man be Florida, you can take the Florida man out of Florida, but you can't take the Florida out of Florida man.

Florida is a weird looking word now that I look at it.

OP Enjoy your wacky realm of palm trees, hurricanes, old folk and bikini babes

Nah. Unless you do something worth apologizing for, no need to apologize. And if you like living in Florida I don't see a need to move. You should move because you want to move.
If you haven't wrestled a gator yet, you need to apologize for not representing your state.
Apologies are no longer an act of contrition. They're only taken as an admission of guilt.

So, what did you do wrong that warrants an apology?

Claiming citizenship in a state that has repeatedly reinforced the zeitgeist of the country's most unsavory qualities.

Ah!

Well, that's definitely a "move" situation then.
