"My stuff" consists of a few random video game "lets plays" and some Christian commentary.
These things dont concern me, to the degree if they are wanting to monitor what my PC does down to the keystroke I dont care unless it slows my PC down or causes my use to glitch out
This is insanely ironic when it comes from someone using the private profile feature.
I personally am all for all of this if the end game gets rid of private profiles.
What are these people hiding!?
Need some tin foil? Im not hiding anything. Im private to ensure my safety from people who want to click on my profile so they can dox, troll, and access my profile for nefarious means.
Im private to YOU. I for sure dont want YOU knowing anything about me, because you dont have reason to.
There's a huge difference in keeping myself out of the hands of kids who want to troll my profile vs legal authorities. If you cant see that difference, that's on you.
As I said, I happily support these new internet rules and regulations. Its been bad for far too long.
But the government needs to see what games and sites you are going to for what reason tho?
Just weird stance to have is all, don’t get me wrong I like to be tread on too but that’s more of not in my own home kinda thing you kno?
You'd better hope those monitoring your PC have a completely infallible security system (they won't), lest all of the data of yours they're monitoring become accessible to these people you fear are trying to maliciously dox you.
I don't get how you can "be okay with everything you do being monitored down to the keystroke" but be so vigilant about people viewing your public gaming profile.
What ifs and hypotheticals are always there. I dont care.
I have far more trust invested in the corporate entities and government authorities than I ever would with users here. Its just how it is here.
No need to be triggered by my personal choices and outlook on the subject.
Its because of the need for it. It comes down to the greater good in the end. Its a wild west, always was. Its time to regulate it.
I have the right to not use it. Thats where I see the need for any "rights" to end in regards to the anarchy of the internet.
Its just how I see it. Ive no concerns about what may be gleaned from such monitoring of my use, if and when I feel like using it.
