Gonna Stick To Console Games
PC/Laptop just worth to much hassle of comparing system requirements.. and doesn't allow for kitty laptime.

pretty sure gpu of 200$ and cpu of 200$ can run any steam game or your fortnite
You’re always free to choose what system you wanna play in but PC isn’t really that bad once you get to know it.

comparing gpu processors? sure, you may not know if a certain intel one is old or nonfunctional for games unless you go on a website that compares them.

meh, i don't have much time to stay at my computer station to play games, i already am going to be doing that for work. the spark of joy of pc games just isn't there anymore for me, roblox toontown, etc. aren't fun anymore for some reason.

Play whatever you like however you like. No shame.

true! thanks. i have to realize that some people do enjoy pc/laptop games and i shouldn't hold that against them, just like some people like multiplayer pvp, even with its fallibilities.

Need to be at 1-3 gens midrange at worst or the experience is worse than a console.

But high end is much better than console. Low end is pointless, wow 1080p60, that was impressive 15 years ago.

Also yeah if you don’t have time to deal with issues, because developers can’t optimise for 100000 different combinations, so they optimise for the consoles.
I can play mine with a controller on the TV and my cats sit in my lap and watch me play.

As a modder and software engineer. That also likes to be portable if SHTF. I prefer a laptop. The Asus G16 is a beast as well as the G14. I have made many gaming desktops but I've grown out of that. Didn't like being locked in a position. And gaming handheld ain't it. 16gb of ram is not enough in 2025. At least 32GB.

I love my G14. Only issue is the small screen.

Got it linux'ed up too. So I can run anything from Nintendo emulators to Star Citizen.
but emulation is illegal, right?

I tried a little bit console gaming with a PS5 ,I cant honestly I am impressed by it, the frame rate isnt ideal for their advertising 120fps, and I have learned that the same PS5 manufactured in different year and season may have difference in performance,
eventually I had to give up that PS5,if it is a PS2 and of its age, I would keep it.

it easy to be sold in my local town, resell price is fair for the original buyer, very fair comparing resell price for PC.
Emulation is completely legal. Piracy is not.

I love my G14. Only issue is the small screen, but that does help with battery life. If it were an 18 or 20" screen, and have a larger battery - it would get 5 stars from me.

Heck yeah! Glad youre enjoying it. And yeah, laptop batteries still ain't the best yet. In terms of technological advancements that's definitely something I want to see improved in the near future.

And Piracy only occurs when you actively sell stolen merchandise. So for anyone equating sharing with piracy, they're just spreading propaganda.

I can give anything I own to anyone I want. Thats not illegal. About the only people who have to worry about gifts are politicians, judges, and ethics commissioners - since the gift could be perceived as a bribe.
but u only own 1 license for the game, u cannot spread copies of that game to others, you are damaging the intellectual property of a corporation when people get free video games thru emulation

You don't own any games
