How many of you gamers have purchased or downloaded free software to alter your voice in game to roleplay your characters voice in game?

Example: your in game character is a robot. So you use a robotic voice with voice changing software when speaking in game on the mic.

I try to avoid unnecessary stuff when gaming to prevent stability issues with background software possibly required by a voice changer. If Idgaf about the game tho, then yeah id probably do it. For like a chipmunk voice to make r18 sounds with and troll people. Because it's funny. Lmao.

I didn't but I'm currently voice training to sound more androgynous since my voice is really deep and masculine (people don't say it is but I feel like it is to me).

I've never used a voice changer, I would if I could sound like Max Payne though.

Nope never did. The characters are the characters, and we are us.

No. I've only used software to alter my hair color to try before I dye and it ended up altering my face as well. I guess the app felt I needed some work done.
Don't bother with those face filter things, their job is to make you insecure to then give you ads about products or plastic surgery or other services. The algorithms just see you as a walking wallet, to be exploited in one way or another...

Edit: Imo by the way you write, i don't think you need any touch ups not now nor in the future. You're a spiritual & smart person + a very kind soul, and those are wonderful and very rare qualities to have, specially nowadays.

Not many gamers have ever used software to "roleplay" their characters in game.

At least not in the Dungeons&Dragons sense of "roleplay"...
