Do new games lack soul and creativity?
I think this is the first generation that has had almost every major release use the SAME game engine and they all look the same in terms of art style with the hyper realistic graphics..

It's just corporate slop mainly, why aren't devs making games like Bioshock anymore?

And they all run like ♥♥♥♥ thanks to that engine meant for hardware that doesn`t even exist yet and that vast majority of gamers can`t even afford.

They seem to be regressing in nearly every way.

Just look at the comparisons between games like TES: Oblivion (2006) and Avowed, or Battlefield 3 and BF: 2042. Soulless and inferior imitations of what has come before.
