It's quite easy to be "anti-American", i.e. rightfully criticizing a homicidal, war mongering, international terrorist, genocide enabling, poverty criminalizing, corporate cesspool called the USA or any of its leaders. It's very natural to be "anti-American" considering all of the harm and destruction that the US govt inflicts on both its own people but more importantly in my view, the rest of the planet and in international relations.

Reality needs to be heavily denied in order to secure any type of "American pride", which translates into nationalism/jingoism. Reality has to be heavily denied and people need to dance around it and do mental gymnastics and give you the "debate" BSer run-around etc. in order to come away with any significantly positive position on his horrible country and its horrible govt, and in part its horrible culture, in many areas of the country anyway, especially "middle Amerika".

Indeed, it's quite easy to not only be rightfully "anti-American", but also really vilify this country for all of the horrible things it's caused around the planet and for its pro-corporate, anti-worker, police brutality domestic policies as well.

Anyway, as far as Trump is concerned. He's nothing new or unique in some aspects, he's a war criminal like all of his predecessors were (Genocide Joe, Obama, Clinton, Bush Jr, Reagan, Nixon, JFK, etc). He is worse in some other aspects I think, which is a sad new low for American presidents. He's a child rapist, racist, Russian asset Putin biznatch, money launderer, property value inflater, convicted felon (who deserves to be convicted on much more), secret doc stealer/seller, all around creep who squeezed his own daughter's hips/ass, etc.

What's even more fascinating is how some idiots on the left voted for Trump, seemingly out of a concern for foreign policy. When in fact he can only be worse about intl affairs, maybe only just with some issues like Israel or about the same as his predecessors. I don't understand how those folks had such a short memory to forget about him trying to start a war with Iran in 2020, like how he attempted to do earlier this year, and the only reason why it didn't escalate further is because of Iran's heavy restraint (they even warned the US before they launched a few rockets somewhere and they didn't hurt anyone I thought etc barely did anything in response to their airspace being violated over and over and their energy infrastructure being destroyed and the justification for it being lies, including lies regurgitated by mainstream corporate US media, both center right (so called "liberal media") and far right.
