It's releasing in little over a week and a half, at least according to their page on Steam. Personally I'm excited. I'm definitely buying it and also buying Hollow knight again.

Never could get into HK, and the hype surrounding Silksong made me feel like it should be called Hollow Knight Forever instead.

I don't even have Hollow Knight, and it's not on my shopping list since it has tags like "souls-like" and "difficult".

Nah, never managed to get into Hollow Knight. I've given it a few tries and keep seeing how amazing it is but it's not for me I guess. I'm looking forward to Bloodstained 2.

I loved Hollow Knight, but I don't think it really needed a follow up or side story. I'll give it a go though.

It'll definitely be interesting to see this one since it was in development so long. I'm hoping it's good. Hollow Knight didn't really need an expansion but it's still nice to have it nonetheless.

No. I loved Hollow Knight, but don't have very good motor skills, so it's a game I never got far in. I won't be able to play Silksong effectively either. Hope it's a good game, though.

Yeah, you're right, it's better to wait for a sale to save some money. Especially since I've still got other games I need to buy again.

It's hardly a soulslike, but I guess it depends where you draw that line. It's more metroidvania than anything. It can be quite difficult, though.
