Hatred is a heavy burden. It drains your energy, clouds your judgment, and usually does more damage to you than to anyone else. I refuse to let someone else’s negativity control my mood, I drop grudges and keep my reactions calm and resonable.

it's pathetic when someone's happiness relies on someone else's demise

thats what the internet is for, innit? anonymity and all that. speak your truth

It depends on why you are happy, if they were a horrible person like did horrible things to you or others and harmed you mentally or physically id say that is fair. However if they were simply different to you and never did no harm to anyone it is kind of disgusting to be happy about that.

I don't know about you guys, but I would be pleased as a pig in mud to know the "orange clown's" obituary makes its first appearance!

It's odd to shed tears for someone who left so many victims in their wake, but that's just me.



One doctor I saw stated 6-8 months! But you know we'll have 'Sauron' to deal with after the orange one is gone!

I try not to celebrate the passing of any human being--but there's one in particular I'll definitely crack a beer and a smile over.

Well, perhaps it's sometimes worth expressing your emotions because, in the end, people will always find a reason to nitpick. Take, for example, that guy who found it arrogant to mention that India has snakes. Ultimately, anything you say can be twisted and used against you.
These mental gymnastics are so difficult that it makes my head hurt just imagining the whole logical chain someone went through from beginning to end to decide that they're being laughed at.
And of course, wishing death on someone is perfectly acceptable - as long as you've labeled them "evil."

Venting could release stress, yes. But I like to compare venting to farting. You can fart to release some pressure, but it doesn't solve the underlying issue. And you make the place smelly for everyone. With unresolved underlying problems, you're more likely to fart again and again.

So, if there's something you can "do" to fix your gut problem, farting should preferably not be done over it.


Farting/venting is only acceptable when that's the only thing you can do to release your stress.

Think about it.
