i heard People talking about it and dunno if it even applies to me and my Day to Day Life

Why is everyone in such a Panic over it ?

Unless you have children - there isn't much to worry about then the usual scams. People trying to steal data and fake your ID. (sign you up for BS)

If you have children then those who pretend to protect children now have new means to identify, track and access your children.
