well your steam level isn't a video game so it depends on whether or not they play video games

I dont understand the level system.

BUT I do think the level system should reflect Skillz and achievmentz in gamez!

Leveling up doesn't do much anymore, I'm level 100 and still hardly ever get booster packs.

The guys who are level 999999 get all of them.

Sure they are gamers, levels do not have anything to do with that. If your under 10 people might consider you a kid or scammer however, usually people try to get to level 10 to see with is unlocked in one's profile if they are on steam very long.

I mainly judge people based on hours played.

If my Mom plays more often than you post? lol. I can assume you aren't on Steam to play games.

Leveling up requires buying into trading cards on Steam, it doesn't have so much to do with playing games. Investing time and money into badges and trading cards doesn't make you more or less of a gamer. Playing games does. Yes gooner games count.

That's because Steam levels are little more than a ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest. I don't care about levels unless it's obvious said person either made their account yesterday or is an obvious alt account. Not everyone has infinite time to get over 200 or so levels

Getting levels doesn't even take time really, just money.

I don't care about Steam levels. For the longest time I didn't know or care how to get it up. It just got up naturally by buying games ok Steam.

I don't care about steam levels and mine for now for years, only the last 2 years or so I levelled it up a bit uwu

i think you can be level 1 and own every game on steam, so i dont think it matters much.
