These days, he could steal a bush in New York without anyone noticing. Thanks to the bystander effect, people would just assume that everyone else already knows something they don't, that bushes can get out of the ground on their own, and walk away while talking on a cell phone.

Except for some dead-serious scenes in seasons 3 and 4 in Game of Thrones, I don't think he was that great an actor to begin with. His style and tone is consistently that of a Big Bang Theory character, which the showrunners decided to lean into even further as the show went on. .

Tyrion was mediocre compared to Theon, Ygritte, Catelyn, Bronn, Varys, Cersei. These were all far more deserving of praise as actors, and probably as IRL people as well.
