TDS crap
Yes god forbid they maybe right this time ...
It’s holding steady at 2.7% while the Federal Reserve (and any Central Bank of some renown) has the perfect amount of inflation set at 2%.
Keep whining
Again, nope, didn’t happen.
The reason why Trump fired the “statistics chief” is that she was constantly getting the numbers wrong.
Which meant she was either not doing her job or was incapable of doing her job.
If your accountant tells you you’ve made 500k last year and a couple of months later comes out and say “sorry, I’ve reworked the numbers and you’ve actually made 12k” how long would you keep working with that accountant?
The only thing Republicans are responsible for is not fixing it.
Trumps policy will not yield positive results in the short term. Nor will it make things cheaper in the shops. He is attempting to make things in shops say "Made in America" rather than "Made in China" on the back.
No, I am not saying that Trump is doing things the right way to achieve his own goals, but people should be very clear that his policy was never about making stuff cheaper in the shops.
I don't think his policy will work, but it certainly will not do what the mass voters want. That was clear even when people went to the polls. What's the big surprise?
And that makes it okay how? Oh, you’ve been mistaken 16 times before, no biggie that you were mistaken this time too?
A small percentage of error is inevitable in any statistical analysis.
But when you revise the number from 150k to 15k, you’re no longer making statistics. You’re throwing numbers at random and calling that an “estimation”.
So no, either she wasn’t doing her job or she was incapable of doing it.
And the fact that it happened for months and years only makes her position even less tenable.
Wouldn't be surprised if they now say that socialism is a good thing when Trump administration bought 10% of Intel. Mmm, nationalising means of production so good when Trump does it.
Gimme a break. Hypocrites.
Inflation at 2% is perfect.
Inflation at 2.7% is good enough.
Inflation at 9% is a disaster - as is anything approaching 0%.
Inflation at more than 20% over four years is a calamity.
Our positions have always been cleared and haven’t changed.
It’s your feeble understanding of economics that leads you to say inflation is the same no matter what.
