Collective Shout Now Wants Gamer's Arrested
Oh dear..

Personally, I've had strict filters and hentai blocked from my store front results for years now and I barely noticed this happening.. In fact I didn't lose 1 title in this de-listing..

(Collective Shout Now Wants Gamers Arrested)

What I was thinking is, why don't you have an adult section, like in video stores, where a consumer can pass warnings and an age verification process? Wouldn't that keep everyone happy?

Because it's never enough. Capitulation only leads to more demands.
Like i can agree with rape and incest and other who are pretty sick shouldnt been on steam but their other views no lgbt games yeah this group dont want lgbt but m rated games is m rated kids shouldnt play all this can easly be solved by parental controll wich ofc most parents dont want to use for the screen is a babysitter but yeah this oddly suspicious group with a super christian lady as leader who has alot of very non femenist opinions of we look at her books

They already have an adult section, you just don't see it if the filter for adult content is on (it's on by default) as the category is no longer listed. If you turn the filter off, the category becomes visible.

Valve will only do what is legally required by law for age verification, because there's too much hassle and security risk for them to properly identify users.

Nether really, I don't exactly know what the offending material is.. But it seems harsh to call for gamer's to be arrested, right.. It's full blown cray cray! :elexniceguy:
They can try, however I have a feeling they're going to find convincing the U.S. Government to allow some Karen's from Australia to have its citizens arrested for video game related issues is going to result is a lot of laughing, and hung up phones. It's about as hilarious as a UK Constable showing up in America to arrest a U.S. Citizen for saying beans for breakfast is a crime unarmed. They clearly have zero understanding of how things work in the United States. We don't give up freedom so easily like our cousins. Especially to a foreign nation.

Until a proper source is shown for Collective Shout wanting this, I will believe it's just more youtube propaganda on the matter.

Collective Shout also don't have the power to change legislation here and believe me when I say that people here would not stand for it.

It's not only possible, but it's very highly likely.

Can you provide a genuine source for this particular topic?

No. I'm browsing YT not investigating groups in Australia..

I would say, this channel, is quite established and is clearly focused on delivering Valve / CS2 news and wouldn't want it's rep affected by false reports or propaganda.

So, I would say, it's highly likely that there's some validity to these claims.
