Except Putin already said that he will have none of the security guarantees for Ukraine and everything is back to zero again.

He knew it wasn't going to happen. But now Trump can say "Welp... I tried. They don't want peace" and wash his hands.

Trump is in a good position - a much better position than before the summits.
