Anyone still remembers the parents that were embarrassed and got butt hurt about being around their mentally challenged child to the point where they had the R word to become forbidden?

It's like how trap became a slur for the trans community even though there is a better word for it and it was mostly used before the term femboy came up to take it's place.
Worse part is everyone saying it didn't even have the trans community in mind because anime had this stuff everywhere when it was still relevant.

You guys know any of other lame as hell excuses of something that is literally bad it had to be called something else to be considered (somewhat but usually is more demeaning as a result) less terrible?
