[SHOOTING] Two children dead and 17 others hurt after shooting at Minneapolis Catholic school
Remember when these were surprising?

Post's Conclusion:
A lot of MAGA disinformation about how guns don't cause violent crime, which I'll debunk below. Also MAGA disinformation about how LGBTQ+ people disproportionately commit these crimes, also debunking below. Then, MAGA disinformation about how armed-guards in any way help in the event of a crisis like this, also debunked below:

Texas is estimated to have more guns than any other state: 1,005,555, with just over 29 million residents. Florida trails just behind with 518,725 guns and just over 21 million residents.

Houston is the highest with 1,148 violent crimes per capita

But sure, there's no correlation between guns and high violent-crime-rates

I wish you people read more than the bible

A recent study by researchers from The Violence Project suggests that armed guards in schools don’t reduce fatalities. Researchers examined 133 school shootings and attempted school shootings between 1980 and 2019, tallied up by the K-12 School Shooting Database. At least one armed guard was present in almost a quarter of cases studied, and researchers found no significant reduction in rates of injuries in these cases. In fact, shootings at schools with an armed guard ended with three times as many people killed, on average. “Whenever firearms are present, there is room for error, and even highly trained officers get split-second decisions wrong,” the researchers wrote. “Prior research suggests that many school shooters are actively suicidal, intending to die in the act, so an armed officer may be an incentive rather than a deterrent.”

Parkland, Florida (2018): Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School had an armed resource officer on campus during the shooting. The officer did not engage the shooter, who killed 17 people and injured 17 others

Santa Fe, Texas (2018): An armed guard was present at Santa Fe High School when a shooting occurred, resulting in 10 deaths. The guard did not stop the attack

Nashville, Tennessee (2023): The Covenant School, a private institution, had armed security, but a shooter still killed three children and three adults before being engaged by police

Red Lake Senior High School, Minnesota (2005): An armed security officer was present but was unable to prevent the shooter from killing 5 students and 3 staff members

Research by Louis Klarevas of Columbia University found that only 18 of 111 mass shootings between 1966 and 2015 occurred in "gun-free zones." Shooters often target schools with armed guards, suggesting that the presence of guards is not a reliable deterrent

Unlike those two kids
Remember this kind of problem has been solved in rich schools.

Rich people like Obama will never have to worry about a school shooting because their kids are protected by armed people. This would stop school shooters, but the left and RINOs would rather pretend this problem doesn't have a solution.

Of course we have a Trumpet banging on about Obama, gotta deflect.
Unfortunately, no, I do not remember when this was surprising. Chalk it up as #59392749937

But clearly, there is no way that cultural and social factors contribute to this phenomenon! These are "isolated" "incidents!"
Not again...

Most of those are staged using brainwashed victims so as to push for disarming Americans.

It is all more futile and bloody American insanity since the right to bear arms is limited to small weapons that can no longer pose a threat to the US government and the spooks behind it.

It's simple facts. Just because some schools had armed security and it didn't help doesn't actually disprove my claim.

Does Obama kids have crappy washed up rent-a-cops guarding their kids or professionals??

Obama's kids are protected, other rich kids are protected. We could protect our kids but the left would rather stand on the bodies of the slain and push to remove peoples rights.

Sorry but you liberals won't be removing anyone's rights anytime soon.

What is the definition of a "mass shooting"?

Good point. By most definitions of mass shootings this doesn't qualify.

So just to be clear, your solution is getting one or more secret service agents per kid for every school? Insightful

Again, nowhere did I advocate for taking away guns; that's your own political insecurity being highlighted. If your armed guards worked, it'd be shown; you don't like seeing the facts. the fact is that Gun-free establishments are 62.5% less likely to experience active shootings

No, just not washed up rent-a-cops. Professionals. Get professionals to guard the school.

It could even be a teacher or several teachers. There's too many bleeding heart Karen liberals in schools, put some veterans there to teach various subjects and ensure that they keep up with their fire-arms training.

Not only would you have safer kids, but removing the liberal teachers will likely mean less kids confused if they should wear a dress and makeup or not.
