What does the internet try to make people think is normal
or common.

But in real life is very rare or nearly non-existent?

Racism towards white people.
Countless trans folks being persecuted for being diverse, not just in San Fran and NY but everywhere. It is so bad we need to stop the world and fix it.

How is it not harmful? Racism is bad for everyone.
as a non-American I have seen young people in my own country making America-centric issues their own issues and picking up causes and stances that are not actually related to their own societies but to American society, due to social media influence. These usually revolve around things such as identity politics that stem from culture wars in the US.

It was rather interesting how american social justice groups suddenly appeared in the uk. Fighting the same causes there, which didn't really exist.
I don't know a single person that eats bread and butter. Not among family, friends, coworkers, not a single one.

I remember Adele getting a lot of backlash for donning bantu knots at the notting hill carnival, due to cultural appropriation, even though it is meant to be a celebration of Caribbean culture open to everyone, and had never been an issue before.

ps: also people dressed as Zwarte Piet being accused of blackface in the Netherlands despite it being an age old celebration.

First of all white people are not "dominant position". Oligarchs, bureaucrats and Plutocrats are. Secondly, white people are predicted to be the official minority by 2050. This anti-white hatred will continue until this happens. What happens when we are finally not in your so-called "dominant position".

people often tend to ignore the fact that the majority of rich and influential people being white does not mean that all white people are rich and influential, and thus there is no justification in treating them as such, and treating them as such is the very epitome of racism because the logic behind it uses race to lump in every white person with the rich and influential ones due to their shared racial heritage.

Extremism.

Rare in relation to the total population and geography.
