post uninstallation restart your computer. then reinstall steam. if that fails after reinstallation. go into your program files under your settings, for the steam app itself clean the cache etc then uninstall the program then restart your computer then reinstall it

it may be worth noting for you any time there is a single file change in the steam/ directory in any way steam needs to be restarted, thats why modding under steam can be a pain. sometimes especially with code work any single change requires the extra step of restarting steam. restarting the computer will appease steam in the same way file system wise

I cant clear the cache because it will not open when i click on the app to start it so i cant clear it thats what doesnt make sense the status availability saying its stuck on sync

what sdk is this for or game rather even. try deleting the entire game right out of the folder system in steamapps/common/ shutdown steam after deleting the game out of the steam library physically then shut down your computer reopen and redownload the sdk or game that way.

I tried that, yeah it's just for apex, I can use my ea account just fine, I've done that with steam I spend 4 hours straight last night researching and doing all the things listed and still nothing, when I click steam it says extracting package, updating steam verifying installation downloads the update so it says but as soon as that's done it does nothing, steam does not open at all, I am so confused it was working fine and the next day this problem happened and I even completely restored my PC wiped EVERYTHING because all I play is Apex so that's why it's as big of an issue as it is, I can get into my account just fine on my phone, I changed the password even I was that desperate
