the steam partnership program only allow for 1 active game and tools depot to be released to the public. so if rust has updated their steam programs to a new depot you unfortunately have no choice but to use the currunt depot theyve released to the public. the only option i could suggest to find an older tools depot would be to check the file version contents of maybe rust on moddb. im not sure if rust is hosted anywhere else. but all users would have to use that old version too to play so unless your looking for the old version to play by ur own means or work the game in your own means i dont think using an older depot of a dedicated server tool will be much use - as youd have to provide the older version of tools and game to run it.
