Problem with VAR on servers.
Hello,

I am asking you and asking for help.
In my life I already had a few servers, but I never came across such a problem.
After the last update, the servers I set are not playable due to the jumping parameter VAR.
Currently, I have 6 virtual machines, including one VPS on nazwa.pl. At the beginning I put the server on VPS before the last update. After the tests I was very happy; low stable pairs and low VARs even with a full server. After the last update, I put the server on the virtual machines provided to me, and here the stairs begin.
Since the update and on the VPS and on the virtual machine, VAR is amazingly jumping.
Interestingly, on VPS, where I have much weaker resources, VAR jumps are smaller.

descriptions:

VPS and VM server
VPS:
13 slots, 128 tickrate - after adding 9 bots plus me, VAR is jumping from 0.020 to ~ 6.000, when 8 players enter and 2 people on GOTV, VAR jumps from 0.010 to ~ 3,500
Here, I note that before the Christmas update there was no problem
Starting parameters: http://serwer1799916.home.pl/pub/VPS/Startowe.txt
(there are 2 commands stored here, I wrote them down and not forget them)
Config server: http://server1799916.home.pl/pub/VPS/server.cfg
CPU: Intel Xeon E5 2Ghz vCore 2
RAM: 4GB
Connection: 800 mb / s Download 500mb / s Upload
Disk: SSD NVMe 50GB
System: Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS current
Machine on OpenStack

VM:
13 slots, 128 tickrate - after adding 9 bots plus me VAR jumping from 0.030 to ~ 30,000, while when 8 players enter, VAR jumps from 0.010 to ~ 14,000
Unfortunately, I did not have this machine before updating so I do not know how it was before the upgrade.
Starting parameters: http://serwer1799916.home.pl/pub/VM/Startowe.txt
Config server: http://server1799916.home.pl/pub/VM/server.cfg
CPU: AMD Opteron 6172 2.1Ghz vCore 6
RAM: 16GB
Connection: 100mb / s Download 100mb / s Upload
Disk: SSD 300GB
System: Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS current
Machine on VM Ware

Both machines are never overloaded 100% when there are bots and players on the server, in the case of VPS it is about 70% CPU and VM about 55%.

I tried different configurations and startup parameters; I tried to run the server with the default configuration, with mods and without mods etc. etc.
In addition, in both cases I installed the xRDP service, I'm a bit lazy and I work better on desktop than in the console :P but this service never takes more than 1% of resources (I tried on a fresh system without xRDP on the terminal session itself but this nothing changes).

So on the wall of the text I have a few questions.
Is there any magician who knows where the problem may be? I am seriously desperate because I've tried all possible configurations and guides. Servers must be done at 5.01 so that there is not enough time, as a last resort i'm gonna buy decitated serwer.
I've probably researched everything and maybe it will be a problem with disk performance? ...
PLEASE HELP

Regards
GRB

Hello!

I read it all, i remember a similar problem, at the time was the limit of the cpu core, srcds still single core based, meaning it will attach its process on one core (you can mess with this)

Maybe it could reaching up a single core, you can check using top dunno if it shows what core each server is using.

You can also check 'stats' on the server console, it shows cpu usage (dunno if its accurate) and fps (it could be droping at some point).

If you fps reaches 127, it will start to drop your tickrate, since you cant have more tickrate than fps.
