Steam game update issues
this is probably a stupid question to ask. make note i am extremely a new gamer and user of steam but my question is has anyone else have had issues opening games since the new update to steam. i am wondering if i just need to delete the desktop icon and re-downloadable the software again. wanted to ask here before i went and did anything. thanks!

I've had troubles opening games in Linux, try clearing your download cache
steam - settings - downloads

I can second what oldeschool says, though you're technically wrong here with your question (this is the server section, so self-hosting stuff, not really the playing part of the games) ;)
