steamcmd disconnects

[2022-12-12 15:56:20] [0,0] Log session ended

this result in my dedicated ETS 2 server to shutdown. this happends betwen 5min after start up to 20h totaly random any ideas?

running on ubuntu

What internet connection do you use for that server? To me that seems to be a timeout issue, so either your connection breaks on reconnections (private home internet provider), or something in the network is a little borked. 5 minutes are 300s, that is a standard timeout value on connection failure.

Could be the case, but I'd rather look at the router or ISP, because I guess this is a local server on a private connection - but then, why not check both: What does dmesg and the syslog say?
