Extra details: 1GB Ram - 2 servers NFOservers.com and Ramnode.com

Same Issue. Run with and without sourcemod on both servers.

TF2 MVM will lag anytime bots are spawned.

I would like to know if there is a way to add a delay between spawning bots for MVM or will Steam ever fix the lag issue.

I've tried CentosOS 64bit, Debian 32 and 64 bit Linux OSs. I reinstalled multiple times. I have yet to try KVM system, but NFOServers use Xen and the Ramnode server is on OpenVZ. I do not think running it on KVM based virtual system would help any.

We have tried -high as a param for loading TF2 Server, we tried to renice it to -20 while it was running.

The lag is present with 1 player or more.

The lag spikes when ever TF2 spawns bots for MVM. We can replicate this if we move the map to koth_nucleus and spawn multiple bots all at once. The effects are not as bad as they are when TF2 MVM spawns bots.

Since the same issue can be reproduced on both servers, we think the issue is due to the TF2 Server Software itself and not anything we can control.
