Insurgency server on Ubuntu 20.04
The windows insurgency works fine, except for a few glitches. I can logon to the sever and play, adjust Difficulty.

But Linux isn't working. Box is to my right.
I use this link to setup the server.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/222880/discussions/2/648817377579416138/

This confused me.
Edit Insurgency Configuration File
cd /home/ins/insurgency/insurgency/cfg
nano server.cfg

Is he saying to use nano to create this server.cfg file in the cfg folder?

I looked at his information for the file and it seems not to have details to setup co-op.
I have my stats enable how can I use my token for the linux server?
-GSLTToken=
GameStatsToken=
I also used
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDZPLz5Yu6Q&t=211s

I also used other links found in google yet I never found one that seemed to be a real step by step instruction tutorial.
I know I am very close to having to Linux server up and running, any help would be appreciated!

My linux server is working! Got out from behind a router!
Need some info.
Where are the game and engine ini files for linux?
Admins and mapcycle txt files location?
Earlier questions about the tokens, how can I use them with this server?
It amazes me how there seems to be no folder tree instructions.
In windows I had to create folders, I assume Linux is the same way.

UPDATE!
My only problem now is the engine and game ini.
For kicks I tried those files from my windows server.
The linux server over wrote, the game.ini is blank again the engine.ini has very little info.
Anyone knows why or how I can stop the files from being over written?

You copied the files from Windows, so they most probably are in ANSI format and need to be reformatted to fit the Linux way (mostly this concerns line breaks; use dos2unix for that).

If this is still the case, give them to another user (i. e. root) and let the user that runs the game only read the files.

I now have those files.
I did a second time and the game.ini stayed written, and working great!
Thanks for replying!
