HL2MP server works, but won't show in LAN browser?

I'm able to run the server, choosing "LAN" as my network, it starts up fine. However, when I launch HL 2 Deathmatch, it shows no servers in the LAN tab. I can connect to it manually and play it just fine, but it doesn't show up when browsing. I can also connect to it over the internet if I select "Internet" as my network type. It's only now showing up under LAN. Why? Thanks.
