half-life 2 stopped updating! HELP!!
everytime i try to open half-life 2 ,it says"an error occured while updating half-life2(missing executable) c:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\half-life2\hl2.exe

please help me out!

make copies of your save folder. Then do the following.

Check the integrity of the game cache
1 Click Library in Steam
2 Righr click the Half-Life game
3 Next select properties
4 select TAB local files
5 click the box "check integrity or game cache..."
