This is a common issue, when this happens close the model viewer using the X at the top right of the screen, then close the object's properties, and then try again.

I usually just type the word in another program like notepad, and copy paste it into the text field. Do whatever feels more comfortable.

This problem happens all the time. no matter how many times i open or close it.

It's a BUG?

This has happened to me frequently, and said solution doesnt work. I even reinstalled my computer, but the issue persists for those exact letters.

I got the same problem, and is there really do fixes out there?

It's nice to see im not the only one with this issue. I've been researching this and aparently there are a few posts in places describing the same problem. You can bypass the problem with h and u by typing a capital H and U but this does not work for c. Same problem with the same keys. Try typing "resupply locker" I copied and pasted and it worked.

I just had this same bug. However, after this happened i was also unable to paste, and after multiple tries of pasting hammer crashed.

Workaround for 'u' and 'h': use uppercase 'U' and 'H'.
e.g. sHelves for shelves
This doesn't work for 'c', because loads of uppercase letters are also broken.
