SteamWorks Mac depot empty
I'm trying to release my game (for Windows and Mac) onto Steam. I've uploaded the two builds to my two depots (tried once via ContentBuilder and twice via HTTP uploader).

Depot 1 is set to Windows (all languages and architectures) and depot 2 is set to Mac OS X (all languages and architectures.

When I download and install the game on Windows, it works perfectly. When I try on a Mac, though, the game's install folder is empty.

Does anyone know why this might be? What could be keeping my Mac build from downloading correctly?

Hi have you ever fixed this issue? I have exactly the same problem, I have verified the packaged, it contains clearly both depots but when the user downloads it on mac it is empty.

Ask in the Steamworks group you are in.

Yeah, I eventually got this question answered. I had to go into my Steamworks settings and mark all of my depots as included in the game package.

This thread ended up helping me. The last step of "including theme in the game package" seems pretty untelegraphed. Seems like there was an opportunity for Workshop to go "hey, maybe you want to do this??" at some point.

At your app list, look for the list of packages (items available for purchase) at the top. Click your package to go to the Package Landing Page. Look for a table called "Depots Included" and add all of the depots relevant to your game to the package.

I did the add depot in the package landing page but the game still downloads 0 bytes. My depot has data in it, on the general application tab the app is marked for macOS anyone knows what I may be missing?

My problem is solved, I only added the depot to the store packages and forgot to add to the dev packages.
