I have the same problem.I change the language to chinese and restart steam client(OS X),but it still english

Having the same problem after the update. Steam ignores the language I pick in preferences and starts in the language of the system.

Well this seems to be a constant after the last update I can't change back to Spanish after restart is in English again. And since this is happening to all of us none English speakers, I think valve will fixit soon, I hope.

It also happened to me and my Steam was in English then turned to French. So it does happen to other people.

I have a simmilar problem, but I can't change from my native language to English

thank god i'm not the only one with this problem, i literally thought my mac or steam was broken

i updated steam and it went from english to swedish and i can't change it back

I noticed this too. Wasn't aware it was an OSX issue..

let's make them see this, i have the same problem. Glad to know some1 else have the problem, for me it's also involving games(TF2)
