Gaming on mac? sure?
I once ran among us on my m1 MacBook Air , as I launched the game it started heating and within like 10 minutes it was hot like hell!

If I had played it for an “extended” period of time, like say 30-45 minutes, it might have damaged my MacBook.

As from my experiences,
Gaming is not for mac at all
(Prolly neither for the top of the line $4000 dollar macs as well)

So you taked lower end laptop, launched virtual machine, then launcher Steam inside it, then launched inside it that game, right?

Because there is no Among Us for MacOS, it's only for iOS.

But you will be able to play Cyberpunk soon on it and it will be much better than Chromebooks - main concurent of the base macbook air on m1.

Actually, it's M4 now.

How much SDRAM do you have?

I have a full 32G and yes it gets a bit hot, but usually I bust my SDRAM and the temp settles down, at least on Disco Elysium.

Also playing Skyrim via CrossOver with High Sierra and another 32G on my old desktop, and it gets occasionally hot but never overheafa.
