Achievements Not Unlocking
I've noticed over the last maybe year that often achievements won't unlock in my games (maybe even most of the time). Even achievements as simple as basic progression achievements.
I know that the Mac client has had some issues before. Is this a Mac Steam client problem?

I try not to care about achievements, but it's gotten quite frustrating and silly looking when I've got however many hours into a game and I don't even have available "completed tutorial" achievements.

That's strange, I haven't had any problems with achievements, except for The Binding of Isaac. For that, I have to run the game on Windows to have the achievements pop up.

I don't really feel like replaying every single game in WIndows just to be an achievement hunter.

I'm not really sure where I should post about this to get some answers, lol

I have the exact same problem and it's really aggravating... Here's to hoping it'll get resolved... -_-

I didn't have to replay The Binding of Isaac for the achievements to pop up on Windows. I just launched the game and they all popped up. I'm not sure if other games work this way though.

I have the same problem! My mac recently died so I got a new PC and I got all the acheivements for many of my games! I hope figures this out -_-

Like the others, I've had this issue with The Binding of Isaac. I almost thought Civ V wasn't giving me credit for acheivements, but that was just because I didn't have an internet connection at the time.

I faced with the same problem in 2024.

Steam Beta Branch:  Stable Client
Steam Version:  1733265492
Steam Client Build Date:  Tue, Dec 3 2:29 AM UTC -08:00
Steam Web Build Date:  Tue, Dec 3 2:20 AM UTC -08:00
Steam API Version:  SteamClient021

Games:
* "Maelstrom"
* "When the nights comes"
Achievements do not unlocks.

The problem has only been noticed in these 2 games so far. In others ("The Symbiant", "To trust an incubus" etc) everything works ok.
