No steam overlay while in game?
My steam overlay doesn't work, I have it turned on and have reinstalled steam, still the same issue. Using a Macbook Air M4 on Sequoia 15.3.2, does anyone know how to fix this, or also has the same issue?

Hi Raspytooth28, I would try these steps. If none of them work, then I would contact Steam Support for help.

- Check macOS Permissions: Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, and make sure Steam has the necessary permissions (like Accessibility and Screen Recording).
- Disable Full-Screen Mode: Some games prevent the overlay in full-screen mode. Try switching to windowed or borderless.
- Reset Steam's Config Files: Delete ~/Library/Application Support/Steam and restart Steam (backup first).
Test with Another Game: To rule out a game-specific issue, see if the overlay works with a different game.
- Check for Steam Client Beta: If you’re on a Steam beta version, try opting out: Steam > Settings > Account > Beta Participation > Change > Opt Out.

Thanks, I'll try doing these steps.
