How old are you? Game making requires many different skill sets. Choose one ( coding, art, design, sound, etc ) and start studying it!

Also, ideas are a dime a dozen. The hard part is making them into a game.

You'll need to know some C or C++ to make a Source mod. If your mod needs custom models, you could watch youtube videos and learn how to use Blender 3D and Gimp... Other than that, most of the info you need to make a mod is at the Valve site, or somewhere within the source engine code itself ;)

Coding isn't easy. The best way to learn it, is to read code and try to understand it. If that works you should start writing own code, and don't worry if something dosn't work from the beginning! Tipp: www.google.com | developer.valvesoftware.com

My suggestion is to go to a nearby community college and start taking courses in the direction of gamemaking you want to focus on.

I suggest learning basics of computer graphics, computer programming, mathematics, and advancing your english a bit. If you have little to no knowledge of computers, make sure you take a computer litteracy course before you try to tackle graphics and programming basics.

The more classes the better, but don't overload too much.

What I suggest is getting familiar with whatever you want to do.
Get really good at it, then assemble a team of Developers, pretty much people who are able to do stuff decently.

I suggest if you want to get people to notice your game, that you learn some mapping aswell, to demonstrate your abilities.

I dont believe you right.
Coding is very simple.
I spent 10years in Auto trades and started Coding a year ago. Its very mechanical. Thatas might be why I find IT so simple. Following syntax rules and staying with a problem until you fix it( even if you step away for a breather ). Stict to best practices and you should progress quickly.
