Engine Error as new players connect to a game in progress
A couple of regular players of my Source 2007 based multiplayer mod have reported a crash to the desktop when trying to connect to game in progress, resulting in the following error on screen:
Engine Error player/lictor/lictor.mdl (2) at 1.$ 1.$ 1.$ in contact with prop_static (2) at 126.4 6.4 -91.5, crash. dist= -1, minq = 99999999999999998000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.000000

Is there anything I can do to prevent it?

I'm guessing "1.$ 1.$ 1.$" is meant to be the vector of the model's origin, but this does not look right to me.

What is "minq"?, 'cos whatever it is i'm guessing it's out of range ^^

well did you tried to spawn your model into a diferent map ?
Or maybe you could check the position of the prop_static into hammer theposition should be that "126.4 6.4 -91.5"

The model appears to work fine to other players that are already in the game across all the maps in my mod.
and what about the location give aby the error into the map ?
no prop static ? nothing that could generate this issue here ?

I've checked the map source (or at least a closely related version to the one being played). If these are standard x,y,z unit co-ordinates there is nothing there.
