Multiplayer in house
Hello, I've been going around in circles trying to find the answer to this question, but when i google this i get results for a different question that is pretty popular to ask. SO.. please don't confuse what I am asking here. I am part of steam family plan, the person I am in a family plan with shares a long desk with me, we play in the same room. From what I understand you cannot play the same game at the same time as someone in your family plan right? We are on the same page for now. This is what i would like to ask.. for somebody in my situation who still wishes to be part of the family plan, how can I play a multiplayer game with this other person? Is there a way to do this? To me it would be silly if the answer was no, but i cannot for the life of me find any information on the subject without encountering all results for the slightly similar question that is "can two people on a family plan play the same game at the same time" that is a totally different question, my question is more "considering the above is true, how can i play a multiplayer game with someone in my household who i share a family plan with?" Thank you guys

Do you both own the game you are trying to play together? You need a license for each person to play.

Likely we do not both own a copy, but i will be willing to purchase a copy myself if this truly is the solution. So if I use the same account i use on family plan and just buy myself a copy this fixes the problem and we can play together?
You cannot play the same game at the same time unless you both own it, so yes if you buy it again you can both play together

STEAM IS NOT YOUR FRIEND PEOPLE, READ THERE POLICIES AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND THEM BEFORE YOU CLICK ANYTHING. THEY JUST STOLE OVER 4K BY INTRODUCING THIS SPYWARE BATTLEYE. THERE TAKING YOUR PERSONAL INFO FROM WHERE EVER YOU GO ONLINE I MEAN EVERYWHERE. OUTSIDE GAMING THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO GO INTO YOUR EBAY ACCOUNTS, BANK ACCOUNTS ETG. THIS SOFTWARE GIVES THEM THAT RIGHT. JUST READ THERE POLICIES AND IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND THEM ASK SOMEONE MAYBE A SOLICITOR OR SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS WHAT RIGHTS YOU ARE ALLOWING THEM.,POST AND SHARE AS QUICK AS YOU CAN BEFORE OTHERS GET RIPPED OFF TO

Only one license can be use at the same time. If your family only has one copy of the game, only 1 person will be able to use it, if your family has multiple copies, you can have more than 1 person play the same game.

Nucleus coop can work with one game purchase. You can splitscreen on separate screens and stream the other to a TV for example.
