Is this a scam?
A random person with an account that has no reviews or games messaged me asking for me to add them as a friend. It was through a review of a game I made, they said ( I want to ask you something ) and I did reply but also through the review, saying ( You can ask me here ) Didn't add them as a friend but I thought it was odd and now I'm genuinely worried because I replied to them. Am I safe? Thanks. PS never had anything like this happen before so if I seem dumb sorry lol.

Yes, you're safe, it's common when people add friends from empty accounts. The main thing is not to follow the links and take trades carefully.
