Updating Games now a nightmare
Hi
Whatever you have done to the "Updating process" Please undo it. A minor 98Mb Update now takes hours.
AND THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH MY PC
It is now a nightmare!
The download is done as per normal, quick
The installation of the new files or data drags on and on and on and on and on - get my drift?
Then the "Patch phase" Well that is simply ridiculous.
I had more than one update of Friday and it took the entire evening to do ONE!!!!!!!,
I want to use my PC for my enjoyment and relaxation not watching paint dry while my games update and get annoyingly frustrated.
Mind you the paint dried before ONE Game was updated.

Please correct this Steam
I have spoken to others and they are experiencing the same issue. It is not just me!

Well I can't say that I have experienced that. It does sound to me as if your hard drive is struggling or there's another bottleneck within your system.

this can happen if you are on a work pc, have an old HDD or the file management on your harddrive partition with the steam library is corrupt
