And this was probably a API scam so don't log into every site with your Steam Account.
Your account is compromised.
Do not trade until your account is secured.
Take the following steps to secure your account:
1. Scan for malware. If you don't have a malware scanner use https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices. https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a clean computer.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App. https://steamhost.cn/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key (there should be no key). https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/dev/apikey
Thanks. I changed the passwords and formatted the computer. But I still don't understand how they accessed the SteamGuard that was only saved on my phone. I don't think I can get the money back, but I'll try anyway. I will never make any purchases from Steam from now on.
you are responsible for the security of your account and what is on the computer(s) your account uses.
Yes, Steam is completely pro-thief. Also, since I wasn't scammed through the exchange system, the thief won't receive any punishment. I won't spend a single penny on this despicable system.
0,04 cents, not 0,06
