Remove the 100 curator ignore limit
i shouldn't need to install a skin workaround just to ignore more than 100 curators when many of them are jokes / unhelpful

Scroll past them until Valve allows us to ignore more than that amount.

Just understand that the 100 limit goes for ignored curators, dev/pubs pages and also following curators, dev/pubs pages combined.

That's what I'm doing as well. It's not like curators took any much store page real estate...

mental ignore. simply stop caring at all. curators functions best when you follow a few that cater to your taste with their selection(curation) .. not with what they write as their reason. then Steam will recommend you better with stuff you might like. that it keeps suggesting new curators is not relevant then.

the limit is there to prevent you from getting ocd, which people that complain about ignore limits already might have. Valve forgot that at several other places or made the mistake to listen to the ocd people.
f.e. people manually ignored half of all products on Steam with is 25k and more ... and then they complain why their store experience is crap and only crap gets released. 800-1000 games per month are released on Steam.
ignoring what is not your taste is pointless, it will be an endless task. same for curators. last time i checked there were 35k curators and that is just a tiny fraction of the potential amount, because every group can just flip a switch and they are a curator and Steam has way more groups.

I never even realised there WAS a function to ignore curators, because simply ignoring it yourself is the most straightforward thing.

If things like this REALLY get under your skin, I would seriously recommend being a bit introspective and seeing if you can fix that within yourself, because I assure you, you will get REALLY pissed off with real life as you get older. Bad curators are nothing in comparison to spam mail, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ callers, prospective salesmen and so on.

You know what crunchyfrog? I 100% agree with you. This is a personal problem not a Steam functionality problem. I forgot curators existed until I saw this thread.

if steam made the function to ignore games based on tags or user input without limitation i should be able to do the same with curators.

I don't have a problem with curators, i have a problem with the stated limit of how many curators a user can ignore. why is that there when it isn't for say, other systems like games/dlcs?

you two are misunderstanding what's being discussed, i don't have a problem with curators, i have a problem with the stated limit of how many curators a user can ignore.
