Steam shows "Away" status, when I'm actually playing
I think this is some kind of bug. And no, I didn't change the status manually. It starts off fine, as usual, then 5 mins later it changes to "Away", even though I"m actually INTERACTING with the game (pressing keys on keyboard and moving the mouse)
Funny thing, it happens only in singleplayer games. I had trouble with this in games like MiSide and The Witness, for example. Help?

i've noticed this same thing with people on my friends list. some of them are in multiplayer too. bizarre

Perhaps the status currently is only linked to the chat? So when you're playing the game, you're not active in the chat and thusly it sets away?

Its input related, mouse and keyboard. I notice my friends showing as away when playing games I know they play with a controller.
