Steam Store now listing $199.99 dollar games
There are currently 5 games in New releases that are listed as $199.99 dollars. I am assuming this is an error?

Most likely not. There are products listed on the store for thousands.
Steam doesn't decide the price.
I think the $300 punching game is still listed...

Regional price gouging?

Not sure what's up with that, at all.
What's the problem?

Sounds like someone made a typo.

Edit: Actually, no, this looks intentional. Every currency other than USD is ridiculous: https://steamdb.info/app/881510/

Yup. I even checked the discussion boards for it. Several (old) threads asking why the price was so high at the time (was like A$150) just had the dev respond with keys instead of an answer...

Kinda funny.

There are games that cost like $10,000.00 USD on Steam. I doubt it's an error.

Devs/Publishers decide prices, not Steam. Steam just gets a 30% cut of whatever gets sold, so I don't think Steam cares what price things are being sold at, bar a minimum price.

They'll care if keys for those pricey games are available on other sites cheap.

Possibly trying to sell games on other sites so Valve doesn't get any money.

That game is unavailable in Germany, so it didn't complete the age rating questionnaire.

This fact, combined with the vastly different pricing between regions, looks like a money mule scheme to me.
One dev tested Valve's limits and raised the price for their game to $12,000,000 and lowered it back down to $2,000,000 before they were banned...
