naming and shaming rule
I got banned from the cs2 community for naming and shaming.. I posted 2 screenshots of csstats, names and avatars blocked (i made sure that every identifiable info is censored, to avoid above mentioned) but I get banned.. what a 🤡 show of a forum, you go to great lengths to avoid braking the rules but the nature of them being so vague and misleading gives the SUPPORT STAFF (not the mod banned me) power trips. I propose that the rule should have a description in which it states EXACTLY what not to refer to in a 'naming and shaming' post. Yes, I did accuse a steam user of bad behavior.. who? IDK but I accuse so that brakes the forum rules.. What a load of garbage.. The player in question has 7.8 KD & 4.3 HTLV rating (account created 24th of April), do you think I would bother creating a post 'crying' about the situation if the so called VAC was working?

I request that my ban should be removed on the basis that the rule is vague and misleading, since I did not name it should not count that I accursed (they don't even know who).

Naming and shaming was removed from the guidelines months ago.

If all you did was name and shame someone, without insulting them, then you didn't break any guidelines.

I just checked the guidelines and to my surprise I couldn't see anything about naming someone...

Just don't harass or insult them...

Unless having a suspicious feeling is insulting???

It's still there but in more broad terms.
Violate others’ personal rights
Examples of such prohibited behavior include: doxing; scamming; stealing; impersonating; stalking; accessing other users’ Steam accounts; and posting libelous or defamatory statements.

exactly my point, the rule is vague and let to the staff support members to interpret. it is clearly written up deliberately that way.. knowing valve, they would have been very 'legally' about how they phrase the sentences in their online conduct rules.

I did contact the steam support and their message was "we verified and the ban was applied accordingly".. If the rule has been removed this was a clear abuse from the STEAM SUPPORT STAFF

here is the message:

You have been banned from Counter-Strike 2 Community Hub

You have been banned from Counter-Strike 2 Community Hub by a member of Steam Support for your post in "Feels weird but somehow it doesn't..":

clownshow.exe ibb.co/gMpKS8MY
clownshow.exe 2 ibb.co/BK7C3jc7 K/D 7.76 & HTLV 2.95 :KEKW:

Ban Reason:
This post identifies and accuses other Steam users of bad behavior (naming and shaming). This type of content is not allowed on the Steam Community.

Where exactly in those 2 screenshots, viewed 2 times each there is any identifiable information? I did name but I did not shame, it does not warrant a full month ban for pointing out that their AC is broken and can't ban users who blatantly brake their game ToS for months.

Then stalking would be tthe strongest argument... but even then it's VERY weak...

The Steam discussions aren't the right place to dispute specific bans. We encourage you to contact Steam Support.
