Can't Log in to Steam client
For some reason I cannot log into the Steam client. I can log into Steam via the web, obviously, because I'm here posting this but when I try logging in to the Steam client it doesn't recognize my credentials.

Steps I've taken:
Installed Steam to a freshly installed and updated Windows 11 Home Edition.
Attempted login with my Steam account credentials.
Made second attempt going slowly and watching myself enter one character at a time to verify each character was entered correctly without making a typo (standard procedure when first attempt fails.
Uninstalled Steam, rebooted computer, reinstalled Steam and tried again.
Uninstalled Steam, deleted from hard drive all Steam folders/files and instances from the various locations Steam is installed.
Removed all registry keys associated with Steam.
Rebooted the computer.
Reinstalled Steam client.
Attempted to login again.
Checked helped forums. Found multiple posts with other users experience the same issue with no replies to originating posts that contained resolutions.
Checked AI via Grok, Copilot and Gemini. All three could not find an answer either.
Waited a day, shut down PC, waited a couple minutes, booted up PC and tried again.

Apparently this same issue has happened to multiple people over the past few years so it's not a new issue, however, the Steam Support options do not have that issue listed as a support option to select to get help with.

Anyone else have experience with this issue and know of a workaround to get it to work?

No, I'm having the same problem and nothing works. I even tried the old change the shortcut target name trick and coulnd't change it.
