I'm not going anywhere until I die so I really don't have a choice.
I know there are some great games that have come out over the last 5 years or more, but I have to be honest and say I really prefer older games over new ones.
What the Biden administration allowed with Woke / D.E.I. to infest games created in the U.S. has really sickened me to newer games. I'd have to research all the games made in that time period and find which ones were and which ones weren't.
Hopefully all that crap will be flushed out of the gaming system now that we have a real President and he won't be pushing those same ideals. Then it is up to the publishers and developers going back to what made games great. Making a game for the joy of it for everyone and anyone to play that isn't made for a special group of people first and foremost.
As for the future ... I'm not a fan of thinking 2026 is going to be a great year yet until I see how it turns out.
Hope for the best .. expect the worst. The Liberal activists and politicians certainly aren't going to help ... that's for sure.
I get that people have different views on where the industry is headed. Personally, I try to focus on whether a game is fun and well-made, regardless of the politics behind it
