A lot of people have NSFW games on Steam. And recently the images in the newsfeed articles for these games have been blurred out, at least if you were accessing them from your Library newsfeed. I figured out a workaround that has worked so far on all of my NSFW titles.

1. Go to the game's discussion page.
2. Now click on "events and announcements."
3. Click on any newsfeed topic.
4. You should see a discussion topic for the thread, and at the top of the page a link to the newsfeed article. Click it.

Now instead of blurred images, you'll see images in the news article.
